He is survived by: his wife Sharon Morris Wharton; and his children, Craig Wharton, Sherri Zeigler, Mindy Mathews, Vicki Montgomery and Brian Lunsford (Beth). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and honorary grandchildren.
