She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Davis and Lela Davis; her siblings, Jesse James Thompson, Tommy Carter Sr. and Dorothy Davis; and her grandparents, Sersha, Minnie Davis and Emily Kimble.

She is survived by: her sisters, Gloria Lane (William) and Emily Pender (Rick). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
