He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Butcher and Mae Butcher; his grandparents, French, Dolly Butcher, Harlan Mullins and Lou Ellen Frye; and his siblings, Candice Hensley, Racine Dingess, Devoil Butcher and Rhondall Butcher.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Lambert Butcher; his stepchildren, DeLinda Elaine Thomas (Jim) and Thomas Eddie Ferrell (Dawn); his grandchildren, Michael McPeek (Julie), Matthew McPeek (Krista), Kimberly Robles (Scott), Stephen Ferrell (Tiffany), Melissa McPeek (Reheim) and Beth Ferrell; and his great grandchildren, Jalyn, Brooklyn, Jor, Mason, Jastyn, Micah, Alexia, Drevyn, Camden, Mira and Dominic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 in his memory.
