She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlis Vaughn and Thelma Vaughn (Shepard); and her siblings, Theodore, Dixie Lee and Arlene Lasko (Patrick).
She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Janell Smith (Scott), Hugh Toombs (Tiffany), Alicia Clark (Jim), Dennis Kershner (Janell) and Kevin Strauser; her stepchildren, Jason Strauser (Laura), Margaret Martinez-Strauser (Juan) and Jennifer March; and her grandchildren, Lindsay, Amanda, Jason, Nicholas, Ashley, Courtney, Tara, Jonathan, Austin of Ashton, LJ, Max, Olivia, Charlotte, Mavis, Keviyon, Zakyah, Kevarri and Taylor. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
