Chet DeLong Obituary
We bid farewell to Chet DeLong (Mansfield, Ohio), born in Dayton, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E. DeLong and Lexie L. DeLong (Johnson); his stepfather Donald St. John; his siblings, Gene DeLong and Lori St. John; his parents-in-law, Dominic and Carmen Manfredo (Carter); and his grandparents-in-law, Walter and Mildred Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Gail DeLong (Henning); his daughters, Tamra Barnett (Craig Wolf) of Mansfield, Lisa Booth (Robert) of Mansfield and Darby DeLong (Cody Loveland); his grandchildren, Megan Moll, Angela Moll, Elizabeth Moll Rybarczyk, Melissa Studer, Allison Nicholas and Cory Booth; his siblings, Currie DeLong (Shelia) of Clermont, FL and Lexanne Dellos (Steve) of Summerville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Diana DeLong of Mansfield, Brenda DeLong of Mansfield, Marilyn Jackson of Mansfield, Lee Seaver (Tom) of Utica, NY, Kenneth Henning (Mary) of Dayton and Dominic Manfredo of Long Island, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
A masonic service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel (2553 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, OH 44904). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
