The memory of Clu Daniel V. Baker of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Baker and Mary Jane Minges Baker; and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ann Smith Baker; his children, Daniel Michael (Shelli), Christopher (Christine), Victoria Reef (John), Richard Ervin (Michelle), Patrick (Lori) and Mathew (Kelly); his siblings, David Baker, Peggy DeWitt, Mary Copess, Sara White and Bonnie Carter; his sister-in-law Jean Smith; and his friends, Richard Sweet and Jim Murtha. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Herlihy Funeral Home (173 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (60 S Mulberry St, Mansfield, OH 44902). A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visitation Sisters of Toledo, Knights of Columbus #687 or St. Peter's Catholic Church.
