He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Bowers and Martha Bowers (Fry); his sisters, Carolyn Teeter, Pat Siebert, Pam and Dale Nitzshe; and his great grandchild Gracelynn Bowers.
He is survived by: his wife Sherral Mowry; his sons, Danny Bowers, Bill (Kristi Bowers) and Rob (Kristi Bowers); his grandchildren, Colton Bowers, Morgan Bowers and Brooke Bowers; his brothers, Robert Squires and Ty (Julie Bowers); and his nieces and nephews, Kylor, Amber Walker, Jeff and Hunter Bunn. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville Butler Chapel (81 Mill Rd, Bellville, OH 44813). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
