She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Crooks and Vera Dillon Crooks; her husband Arthur Swanger; her sister Dottie Schmitz; and her grandson Kevin Clinedinst.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Swanger (Kathleen) of Bellville, Jody Miller of Mansfield, Julie Clark of Mansfield and Joyce Souder (Donald) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Jackie Swanger, Joy Chumbley (Justin), Jeremy Miller, Katie Ratcliff, Keith Swanger, Levi Swanger (Tina), Keelie Lawhorn (Ryan), Jessica Ling (Jason), Kameron Clark, Jolene Thompson (Wayne), Jennifer Berrier (Randy Joe), Justin Souder (Erin) and Dustin Souder (Dianna); her stepgranddaughter Ashley Clinedinst; and her granddaughter-in-law Kerra Clinedinst. She is also survived by 38 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Church or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
