He was predeceased by: his parents, Denzil F. Brooks and Helen A. Brooks (Turner); and his sister Karen Marcum (Rob). He is survived by: his wife Retha Brooks (Love); and his sisters, Kathy Van Pelt (Ray) of Mansfield, Wendy Shopbell (Mitch) of Mansfield and Carolyn Withrow (Daniel) of Elkview, WV. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
