He was predeceased by: his parents, John Janes and June White Janes; his brother Tom Janes; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Mary Wortman.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Janes; his daughter Angela Kohlhorst (Kevin); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Lance (Mike), Samantha Trzinski (John), Jamie Ramirez (Jair), Jacob Kohlhorst (Megan) and Alex Kohlhorst; and his great grandchild Charlotte Trzinski.
