He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James and Lucy Mary Agnes Saxton (Ruggi); his wife Rosemary Saxton (Carneal); his children, Beverly Theresa Saxton and David Saxton; and his siblings, Joseph Marsano, Dominic Marsano and Amy Gantzler.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Knoyer (Margaret) of Munroe Falls, OH, Steven Saxton (Amy) of Fort Wayne, IN, Diane Liebal (Ed) of Warren, OH, Ann Burton (Brian) of Fort Wayne, IN, Jim Saxton (Nyla) of Fort Wayne, IN, Tracy Darling (Drew) of Mansfield and Tiffany Osgar (Mike) of Mansfield; and his siblings, Frank Saxton, Jr. (Anna Mae) of Crestline, Shirley McClain (Larry) of Mansfield, Dolores Shafer of Crestline and Phyllis Hoffman of Crestline. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Werner-Gompf Funeral Services (1106 Park Ave E, Mansfield, OH 44905). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, Ltd. (1106 Park Ave E, Mansfield, OH 44905). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery (5700 Lincoln Hwy, Crestline, OH 44827).
