It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen L. Nelson of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen L. Nelson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Christman and Emma Nick Christman; her husband Stewart; and her son Mark Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Richardson (Terry) of Greenwich and Steven Nelson (Diana) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Heather Edmiston, Joey Nelson (Christina Boston), Michelle Spurlock, Annie Pilmore (Trent), Clayton Richardson (Liz Wolfe) and Christopher Nelson (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Bentley, Chase, Jason, Carson, Cayleigh, Kaden, Addilynn, Daniel and Amelia; and her daughter-in-law Joanne Nelson. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herlihy Funeral Home (173 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (60 S Mulberry St, Mansfield, OH 44902).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
