Frederick Martin Bocka Obituary

We bid farewell to Frederick Martin Bocka of Mansfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Frederick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bocka and Marymae Bocka (Fuhrer); his wife Penny Jo Bocka (Scott); his grandson James Thompson; and his brother-in-law Ray Goins.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Cascio (Michael) of New Hyde Park, NY, Sally Wallace (Wade) of Columbus, Terry Bocka (Janet) of Smithville and Sherry Thompson (Jim) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Michael Cascio, Madison Terrasi (Brian), Steven Cascio, Elizabeth Westling (Josh), Taylor Terlaak (Dennis), Logan Myers (Lauren), Annkelly Struckel (Ryan), Isabella Myers and Bethany Cornell (Kenton); his great grandchildren, Emily, Lily, Adelaide and Atlas; his sister Annette Goins of Summerville, SC; and his sister-in-law Nancy Robison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario (100 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Ontario, OH 44906). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (1574 OH-96, Ashland, OH 44805).
