He is survived by: his wife Joann Thompson (Pfeifer); his children, Heather Nicol (Tim) of Mansfield, Ohio, Greg Thompson (Jaimie) of Springfield, Ohio and Stephanie Weathers (Michael) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Nathan, Anna, Joshua, Abigail Marks, Carter Thompson, Ashton and Hayden Weathers; his daughter Grace Jokela of Dresden, Germany.; his brother Verne Thompson (Patty) of Mansfield; his nieces, Ashley White (Brian) and Jennifer Young (Preston); his sister-in-law Sheryl Pfeifer of Grand Prairie; and his grandchild Western. He is also survived by seven great nieces and great nephews.
