She was predeceased by: her mother Esther Gilliom (Furher); her husband Jessie "Jim" Burford; and her sisters, Margaret Miu, Betty Gilliom, Mary Fulk, Frances Sorg and Dorothy Chambers.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shawna Smith (Scott), Dawna Burton (Kirt) and Melody Ruth (Robert); and her brother John Gilliom (Miriam). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
