Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Jean (McDowell) Boyd of Mansfield, Ohio, born in Boons Camp, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 12, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice McDowell (Walters) and Everett McDowell; her adoptive parents, Lizzie Staniford, (Walters) and Elijah Staniford, Jr.; her husband James "Jim" Douglas Boyd; her brothers, Elijah Staniford, III and Everett Ray McDowell; her son Mark Alan Boyd; and her grandsons, Daniel James and Douglas Alan Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, James Boyd (Janice), Donna Macco (Dirk), Jean Collins and Joan Young (Michael); her grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah Boyd, Danielle Thoune (Justin), Dianne Menor (Adam), Kara, Kelly Collins, Jesse, Justin (Sierra), James Henry, Courtney and Jennifer Young; and her sister Ella Glass. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
