With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Kay Saylor of Mansfield, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Simmons and Jane Simmons (Bordner); her stepfather Don Ford; and her stepsiblings, Beanie Cornell, Norma Lou Clark and Fred Ford.
She is survived by: her sister Ethel Briggs (Chuck); her nephews, Chris Briggs (Renae) and Mike Briggs (Jenna); her great-nieces, Caitlin Briggs, Sarah Cole (Zach) and Anna Briggs; her great-nephew Jon Briggs; Apollo Cole.
In honor of Helen's life and passions, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Southern Care Hospice, or the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf.
