He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Shelton and Mabel Exie Profit; and his daughter Lanette Shelton (Jimmy Jones). He is survived by: his wife Valerie Shelton; his sons, Anthony Shelton (Heather) and Tim Shelton (Anastasiia); his stepson Jason Tharpe (Becky); his grandchildren, Bethany Jones (Richard), Kimberly Shelton, Kayla Shelton, Kristen Samiliano (Javen), Colton Shelton (Hannah), Kiefer Sloan (Lori), Zachariah Remaley, Dylan Tharpe, Logan Tharpe, Trevor Gray and Hunter Gray; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Harmen, Kodah, Ryland, Maria, Cheyenne, Oxana, Dakota, Leland, Adelynn, Emma, Oliver and Christopher.
