He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Nolen and Pearl Nolen; his brothers, Hurtice Nolen and Dolson Nolen; his siblings-in-law, Carol Nolen and John Herrick; and his father-in-law Harold E. Herrick.
He is survived by: his wife Lana; his children, Tom Nolen (Kathy), Karla Hill and Tara Rogers (Terry); his grandchildren, Thomas Carroll, Amanda Lewis, Dustin Nolen, Kirsti Nolen, Jacob Hill, Megan Hill, Cade Rogers, Cailyn Rogers and Clete Rogers; his mother-in-law Luba Herrick; his sister Ines Bond (Vernon); and his siblings-in-law, Louise Nolen, Sandi Rose (Dale), Beckie McKee (Randy), Jim Herrick (Carla) and Richard Herrick (Ginny).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Dayton, OH or in Erie, PA.
