Petty; his father-in-law Reverend Henry L. Washington; and his nephews, Shawntorio D. Kilgore and Charles Mathews (Pooper).
He is survived by: his wife Clyone; his children, James R. Benjamin III, Chadwick A. Benjamin and Teasha R. Benjamin (Jarvis); his grandchildren, Tameka Burtin Jr. (Willie), Latasha Windham, Latrice Briggs (Jay), James, Miles Benjamin, Adrianna L. Parsons, Willie Mollett, T'Shiona Benjamin and Jayla Stanford; his goddaughter Essynce Owens (Essy); his siblings, Henry R. Benjamin Jr., Charles Benjamin, Darrick S. Benjamin (Pat Lewis), Cynthia D. Kilgore and Sheila Benjamin; his mother-in-law Azlea Washington; and his siblings-in-law, Argene Washington, Lamar Washington and Henry Washington III (Dora). He is also survived by nephews, nieces & cousins.
