He is survived by: his children, Sherry Collins (Jay), Christine Schmidt, Robert "Bob" Van Riper (Tammy) and Catherine "Cate" Van Riper; his siblings, Carol McGowan (Harvey), Tom Van Riper, Nancy Price (Jay) and Gary Van Riper (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Brittney, James, Sam, Ryan and Jaxon; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Aiden, Nolan, Zoey, Sophia, Judson, Calum, Charlie and Tatum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
