He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clinage and Josephine Clinage (Hoffman); his siblings, Robert Clinage and Carol Brewer (Luke); his brother-in-law Ray Harris; his nephew Earl Brewer Jr.; and his niece Chris Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Morris Clinage; his sons, James "Jimbo" Clinage Jr. (Michele) and Jacob Paul Clinage; and his sisters, Betty Brewer (Earl) and Ruth Harris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
