She was predeceased by: her parents, Clare Richie and Harriet Richie (Ackerman); her husband Robert Hoffman; and her granddaughter Alexandra Rife. She is survived by: her children, Mark Hoffman (Deb), Kevin Hoffman (Diana) and Ruth Ann Watts (Derek); and her grandchildren, Laura Kemp (Brett), Lindsey Collins (Justin), Joshua Hoffman (Kristina), Jordan Hoffman (Olivia), Michael Hoffman, Victoria Love (Kevin), Lauren Stegman (Logan), Hannah Watts and Sarah Hesse (Chris). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several cousins.

During the COVID pandemic, she learned how to attend services online so she would not miss church.
