She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Peters and Irene Peters (Wills); and her siblings, Charlotte Jelly, George Peters and Bob Peters.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Gordon of Lexington; her children, Barbara Penn (Ted) of North Manchester, Joe Gordon of Marion, John Gordon (Gayle) of Aiken, Patti Vestal of Mansfield and Jim Gordon (April) of Mansfield; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Meyers (Matt), Kimm Hackworth (Matt), Jamie Heacock (Jessica), Jared Gordon (Heather), Dylan Featheringham, Tom Gordon, Sarah Brandyberry (Alex), Vince Bail, Matthew Rufner (Sarah) and Bethany Pufner. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.
