He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin Hecht Sr. and Pearl Etzwiler. He is survived by: his wife Debra Susan Stone; his children, John Hecht (Monica), Justin Hecht (Jennifer) and Tammy McFerren (Michael); and his grandchildren, Andrew Meadows, Destanie Hecht, Jessica, Justin Jr. Hecht, Austin and Ethan McFerren.
