With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John R. Heringhaus of Mansfield, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Heringhaus and F. J. Heringhaus; his children, Stephen John Heringhaus and Jill Mary Argeles; and his sister Judith McConnell.

He is survived by: his wife Terry Heringhaus; his children, Dr. Thomas Heringhaus (Theresa), David Heringhaus (Lynne), Amy Togliatti (Ted) and Sarah Solin (Jeff); his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Julia, Sam, Sammi B, Grace, Ellie, Olivia, Teddy, Sunshine and Milo; his son-in-law Horacio Argeles; and his sister Jeanie Cindric.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herlihy Funeral Home (173 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (60 S Mulberry St, Mansfield, OH 44902).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Msgr. Edward Dunn Foundation through St. Peter's or to the Mansfield Playhouse, 95 E Third Street in Mansfield, as part of their current capital campaign.
