She was predeceased by: her father Forrest Mitchell; her husband James B. Wheaton; and her son Michael. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Cole of Mansfield and Debra Glenn (Tom) of Loudonville; her daughter-in-law Janet Wheaton of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Bri Glenn (Hunter Hammersen), Angela Smith (April Duncan) and Brenda Carey (Conrad); her stepgrandchildren, Josh Carmichael (Brandi), Rick O'Neil (Jessica) and Arminta Weatherford (Rod); her great grandchild Emerson Carey; and her sisters, Norma Pittenger and Carol Pedersen. She is also survived by eleven step-grandchildren.
