It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kermit Caldwell in Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Myrtle R. Caldwell; his parents, Jack Caldwell and Catherine Caldwell; and his siblings, Eva Shannon, Thelma Allen, Dorothy M. Parker, Loraine Smith, Lucy B. Taylor, Ethel L. McGee, J. T. Caldwell, Hixie M. Hobbs, Calvin C. Caldwell, Dennis E. Caldwell, Mamie D. Hoke and Eugene Caldwell.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Caldwell of Brownsville, TN.; his children, James Lee Nixon (Stefanie), Clifford Anderson, Rodney Jarrett (Brenda), Charmayne Dunlap (Louis) and Valerie Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Sallie Sylvester, William Caldwell, Curtis Caldwell and Elsie Person. He is also survived by children that were not his own, which includes a host of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
