She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Yates and Wealtha Yates (Edwards); her husband Kelver Delaney; her grandson Brandon Remy; her siblings, Gaither Yates, Bobby Yates, Bonnie Belcher, Betty Foster and Pauline Jones; her brothers-in-law, Charlie Delaney and Roger Edwards; and her niece Donna Dixon.

She is survived by: her children, Rayetta Malone (Kenneth) of Mansfield, Louise Remy (Brad) of Mansfield and Geneva Powers of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Curtis Remy (Madgie), Kaley Ramos (Marco), Dakota Powers (Samantha), Dean Malone (Taci) and Daryl Malone (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Carter, Aiden, Kylie, Allie, Paige and Liberty; her brothers-in-law, Larry Jones of Richmond, VA and James Foster of Mansfield; and her parents-in-law, Nina Delaney of Clintwood, VA, Gail Deel (Curtis) of Clintwood, VA, Ronnie Delaney (Carolyn) of Clintwood, VA, Johney Delaney of Clintwood, VA, Debbie Powers (Bill) of Clintwood, VA, Phyllis Anderson (Jack) of Abingdon, VA, Mac Delaney of Clintwood, VA and Alta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
