He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. McDevitt and Veronica McDevitt (Welsch); his siblings, James McDevitt, Dorothy McDevitt, John "Jack" McDevitt, Elizabeth Risacher, Mary Margaret "Marty" Metzger, Joan McDevitt, Sr. and Barbara Thielen Forney; and his son-in-law Christopher Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ziska Pappas (Jane) of Huron; his child Drs; his grandchildren, Taylor Lombardo (Alex), Michael Jones, Keara Joan McDevitt and Caitlin Abigail McDevitt; his great grandchild Colette Lombardo; and his sister-in-law Judy McDevitt.
