He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Arnett and Retta Arnett (Dill); and his son Jarod Arnett. He is survived by: his wife Patty Webb; his sons, James Arnett (Renee) of Mansfield and Andrew Arnett (Courtney) of Mansfield; his sisters, Carolyn Arnett of Mansfield, Peggy Smith of Mansfield, Brenda Lovelace of Mansfield and Marlene Lee of Mansfield; and his close friend John Maranelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
