He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Judith Leather and Earl Leyda (Gladys). He is survived by: his parents, Roger Leyda and Amy Leyda (Leather); his sons, Carter and Lynx; his sister Jessica Leyda (Michael Flenner); his grandfather Robert Leather; and his nieces and nephews, Grayson and Aubree Flenner. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family for the benefit of his children.
