She was predeceased by: her parents, Bird Stevens and Stella Stevens (Fultz); her husband Harold Owens; and her siblings, Esther Fay (James Clay), Clester (Mildred Stevens), Audrey (Earl Kelly), Betty (Hearl Clay) and James Oliver (Rosemary Stevens).

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Stevens (David) of Morehead, KY, Linda Reed (Brad) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Joseph Owens (Pebbles) of Salt Lick, KY; and her brother Billie Joe Stevens (Juanita) of Columbus. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
