We announce the death of Patty Garcia of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 82. Patty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lydia Ellen Myers and Searles; her husband Juan Garcia; her daughter Nancy; her grandson Saul Michael Coldwell; and her siblings, Charles Edward Myers, Betty Marjean Wray, Mary Lou Messer and Mona Sue McGrath.
She is survived by: her children, Rosetta Maskey (David) of Nigeria, Juanita Miles (Jay) of Elyria, John Garcia (Donna) of Mansfield, Antonio Garica of Mansfield and Christina Koehler of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Christopher Coldwell, Jason Coldwell (Jessica), Patricia Dembowiak (Brandon), Matthew Koehler (Kristen), Jonathon Maskey (Jennifer), Carissa Maskey, Joshua Maskey, Joshua Koehler, Jacob Koehler, Cayla Maskey and Justin Maskey; and her sisters, Sandy Blake and Janice Bowman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mansfield Baptist Temple (752 N Stewart Rd, Mansfield, OH 44905).
