Though Paul may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hochstetler and Maude Hochstetler; his wife Dorothy Hochstetler; his sons, Mark Richard and Donald Mark Hochstetler; and his sisters, Florene Wright and Phyllis Cordell.
He is survived by: his son Paul David Hochstetler (Diana); and his sister Betty Joan Ley. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home (106 Shaw St, Plainfield, IN 46168). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
