With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip M. Ackerman of Mansfield, Ohio, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Ackerman and Verna Ackerman (Moore); his former wife Patricia Ackerman; his daughter Amy Cline; his grandson TJ Cline; his son-in-law David Coover; and his brother-in-law Larry Palmer.

He is survived by: his fiancé Pat Robertson; his children, Steve Ackerman and Lisa Coover; his grandchildren, Adrian Ackerman (Shaun Whisler), Amber Ackerman (Zacq Dickinson), Tyler Ackerman (Rebecca), Ciarah Ackerman, Taylor Schafer (Cody) and Lyndsey Barnes (Christopher); his siblings-in-law, Dean Palmer (Cindy) and Dana Palmer; and his son-in-law Tom Cline. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Contributions in Phil's memory may be made to the Mayflower Congregational Church, 548 N. McElroy Rd., Mansfield, OH 44905.
