He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Ruckel. He is survived by: his mother Jennivee Ruckel (Kegley); his wife Denise Ruckel (Jorden); his children, Bethany Riggins and Drew Ruckel; his granddaughter Amelia; his brothers, Bryan Ruckel and Tim Ruckel; his mother-in-law Dolly "Mam" Jorden; his brother Dink; his sister-in-law Delaina Porter; and his nieces, Cassandra, Christy, Jocelyn (Cody) and Jessica. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; extended family; and close friends.

Monetary donations will be used towards keepsakes for the family. Memorial contributions can be made to Mansfield Christian School.
