He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Trent and June Trent (Frick); his brother Mike Trent; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Anna Mae Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Trent (Shelton); his siblings, Roy Trent (Virginia) of Mansfield, Roger Trent (Debra) of Mansfield, Brenda Newport of Elkhart, Indiana and Jack Trent (Kathy) of Elkhart, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Trent of Elkhart, Indiana, Jeff Shelton of Columbus, Larry Kirkpatrick of Mansfield, Terri Kilgore of Mansfield and Sonia Branham (Luther) of Mansfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
