He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thierlein and Thalia Thierlein (Fletcher); and his wife Mary Ellen Thierlein (Julius). He is survived by: his children, David Thierlein (Susan) and Beverly Crawford (Jesse); his grandchildren, Kaya Thierlein, Nora Thierlein, Michael Crawford and Matthew Crawford; and his sister Barbara Bogner. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephew.
