He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Mowry (Kleilein) and Harold Mowry; his wife Sharon Mowry; his siblings, Carol Mowry, Pauline Ling (Mowry), Frances Mowry and Carl Mowry; and his niece Kathy Lodwick.

He is survived by: his children, Ray Mowry (Karen), Jamie Pope and Susan Sukys (Gregory Raines); his grandchildren, Ashley Gentille (Christopher Wilocki), Megan Gentille (Eric Steigerwald), Ryan Mowry (Heidi Sinavsky), Michael Mowry (Liz Phan) and Zachary Pope; and his great grandchildren, Veda, Sawyer Wilocki, Forest, Reese Steigerwald and Amelia Mowry.
