He was predeceased by: his parents, Reatha Clifton (Swanger) and Herman Clifton; his brother Jeffery Clifton; his parents-in-law, Fred and Opal Hinkle; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta Hinkle and Herman Hinkle.

He is survived by: his wife Regina Hinkle Clifton; his daughters, Kristi Lawhorn (Don) and Lori Wurth (Jason); his grandchildren, Jenna Meister, Alyvia Lee, Joshua Wurth and Christopher Wurth; his great grandchildren, Weston Young and River Claar; his sisters, Tina Heinberger (Randy), Cathy Garman (Charles) and Joyce Smith; his siblings-in-law, Orville Hinkle (Mary), Fred Hinkle (Daisy), Winnafred Dalton and Christine Preece; and his close friends, Tony Duncan, Robert Loyd and Robert Tackett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario (100 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Ontario, OH 44906).
