He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph C. Petras and Mildred Petras (McCollum); his brother Pete Petras; and his siblings-in-law, Trish Claypoole, Tom Cieply, Cheryl and James Taleff.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Petras of Mansfield; his children, Michael Westwood of Mansfield, Denny Westwood of Lucas and Karen Lawhun (Joey) of Lucas; his grandchildren, Michaela Miller (Phil), Joshua Watkins, Nicole Westwood, Alexis Westwood Jaxon Westwood (Sam Sweeney), Ashleigh Rettig (Andrew), Jed Lawhun (Christina) and Sarah Kanz; his great grandchildren, Tara, Jaxon, Wyatt, Sofia, Brody, Liam and Rosaria; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Petras, Dale Claypoole and Patty Cieply. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
