He is survived by: his wife Aretha Greer; his daughter Yasmin Wilson; his sisters, Patricia Carter of Houston, Texas, Essadie Cartrell of Mansfield, Johnnie Mae Eddie King of McComb, Mississippi and Adrian Taylor Allen of Austin, Texas; Sam Greer of Mansfield, Ohio.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, great-nieces and nephews.
