He was predeceased by: his sister Paula Garrett-Malaska; and his brother-in-law Randy Ransom. He is survived by: his parents, Terry Philpott and Helen Philpott (Daniel); his siblings, Pam Ransom, Tim Philpott (Deb), Patrice Anderson (Dane), Thad Philpott (Lori) and Maria Buck (Mike); and his brother-in-law Tom Malaska. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and 10 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herlihy Funeral Home (173 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (60 S Mulberry St, Mansfield, OH 44902). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Mansfield Catholic Cemetery (389 Altamont Ave, Mansfield, OH 44902).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 123 (mail check to the Knights of Columbus Attn: Bob Sliney) or Silver Lining Dayhab in Toby's memory.
