She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Fuqua and Mildred E. Fuqua (Curry); her grandparents, Henry and Mattie Strong; her son Julian Fuqua; her aunt Lucrecia Strong; her siblings, Wanda Fuqua, Emma Warfield, Joann Cory and Robert Fuqua, Jr.; and her nephew Antony Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Quinten and Jayson Fuqua; and her sisters, Mattie Williams, Phyllis Franklin (Elder Tillman Jr.), Essie Bass and Patricia Ford. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
