She was predeceased by: her parents, Crait Blevins and Opal Blevins (Waggoner); her husband Theodore Apostol; and her sister Anna Jewell Rose. She is survived by: her children, James Brent Kiser (Karen) and Dowanna "Dodi" Mullins (Floyd); her siblings, Dottie Jean Vineyard and Bobby Allen Blevins; her grandchildren, Kelly Brogan (Curt), Stephanie Blevins (Arnold), James Tyler Kiser (Nicole), Timothy Luke Mullins and Ticcoa "Torri" Pigman (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Trinity, Zoe, Roma, Olivia, Damien, Isabella, Kirra, Shiloh, James, Nathan, Liam and Adaea. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
