He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gilbert and Charlene Gilbert (Meyer); and his sisters, Shirley and Carole. He is survived by: his wife Judy Gilbert; and his sons, David Gilbert and Douglas Gilbert (Melissa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
