With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lydia G. Sally of Mantua, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lydia left this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessey Miller (Fran Miller) and Edith Schlabach (Alvin Schlabach); and her husband Jon H. Sally of Kent. She is survived by: her children, L. DeWayne Knight (Erika) of Rootstown, OH, Kevin John Sally (Michelle) of Brimfield, OH, Bret David Sally (Kelly) of Woodstock, GA and Lesa Sally Lillibridge (Kim E. Tullis) of Tallmadge, OH.; and her grandchildren, Kira Marie Knight (Jedidiah), Megan Elizabeth Whitacre (Joseph), Jillian Sally (Michael), Kyle Paserba, Wesley and Beau Whitacre.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Brimfield Methodist Church (1235 Tallmadge Rd, Kent, OH 44240).
In lieu of flowers, Lydia's wish is for you to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society as a Memorial to the many in Lydia's family, and her best friend Char Doherty, that cancer has affected or taken.
