With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbur Lavert Headen Jr. of Maple Heights, Ohio, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur L. Headen Sr. and Ernestine Headen; and his sister Margaret Ann Rose (late John). He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Headen and Wendy Headen; his grandchildren, Anthony and Amaya Coe; and his siblings, Sharon Borders (late Lenzie), Lamont Headen (Candy), Linda Todd (Carl), Brian Headen (Mikoyan) and Audrey Rush (Thomas). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calhoun Funeral Home (23000 Rockside Rd, Bedford Heights, OH 44146). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270).
