We announce the death of Peggy Ann Alexander of Maplewood, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Peggy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Althea Lament (Myers) and Dwight Kenneth Lament; her husband Brian Eugene Alexander; her stepfather Elzie Mabrey Sr.; her siblings, Nancy Hinkle, Delores June Danzig, Kenneth Lament, Robert Faurot, Ira Mabrey and Jim Mabrey; her siblings-in-law, Allen Danzig, John Moore, Rod McQuown and Sue Mabrey (Irene Mabrey); her nephews, Brian King and Robert Burton; and her parents-in-law, Arthur and Mary Alexander.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Pratt (Chris); her granddaughters, Brianna Lucas, Haley Lucas (Zachary Hawkins), Amanda Maholick, Dezarae Leath, Crystal Pratt and Veronica Pratt; her great grandchild Grace Elizabeth; her close friend Joe Thompson; her siblings-in-law, Ercle Lament, Deb Mabrey, Dianne Alexander, Anita Alexander, Marie Alexander, Lisa Alexander, Melvin Hinkle and Eugene Alexander; her siblings, Sylvia Susan McQuown, Donna Morrison (Jeffery), Marilyn Houchins (Richard), Janet Evers (Patrick), Elsie Campbell (David), Marlene Mundy (William) and Elzie Mabrey Jr.; and her aunt Helen Klopfenstein.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Price McElroy Funeral Home (123 N Main St, Kenton, OH 43326).
Memorial donations in Peggy's honor may be made to a Catholic Church of your choice.
